RACE CATEGORIES

Sport, Expert & Pro Categories all start the race at the same time & are on the same course. At our mass start we ask for Pro runners to populate the front of the pack, Expert class just after them, & Sport class afterwards.

 

PRO

This category is for professional & sponsored athletes.

EXPERT 

This category is for people with a lot of mountain experience, consider themselves strong hikers with competent running skills.

SPORT

This category is for people that don't have a ton of mountain experience, and wouldn't call themselves strong runners. But are ready to test themselves. Beginner types.

BIB PICKUP

Please come to Bib Pickup to receive your Bib assignment & Swag. We will need all athletes to pick up their own bibs and sign waivers. Athletes under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign waivers.

Thursday - Early Bib Pickup

Bib Pickup will be available the Thursday before every race. Athletes will be notified of time & location via email the week prior to the race. We strongly encourage all athletes to pick up bibs are early pickup.

Sat Race Morning - Bib Pickup

Bib Pickup we be available at the venue the morning of the race. Please arrive early and give yourself time for parking. Bib Pickup will promptly close 15 min prior to the start of the race. We do not allow any late starts on course to ensure all athletes safety.

 
 

AID STATIONS

Each course has two aid stations. They will have water, Honey Stinger gels & Gnarly Nutrition electrolyte beverages. Aid stations are staffed with volunteers and we have EMT's available as needed.

This season our Aid stations are using Biodegradable cups, that will be properly recycled after races. We are committed to limiting our use of single use plastic. Aid Stations will also have a self fill water station if you are carrying your own water bottle.

All Results will be posted on our website within 48 hours of the event.

Photo Galleries will be posted within 48 hours of event. We have professional photographers on course, all galleries will be emailed to every racer after each event. #pushpeaks

Be Good Stewards

This is a celebration of the high places we love!

We work closely with our host resorts to carefully design our courses and move gently thru the mountains we love. We utilize existing high traffic trail systems on the resorts to minimize the impact within the delicate high alpine terrain.

Cirque Series diligently marks / unmarks our courses, reuses all marking, provides event recycling, and encourages all our particpants to leave the mountains better then we found them.

Going To Good

This season we are donating $1 of each registration fee to Protect Our Winters, Save Our Canyons, SUWA, or Utah Open Lands. We are excited to have these non-profits committed to environmental activism highlighted in our vendor village! Please visit them.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The race organizers reserve the ability to cancel the event due to unsafe weather. Race organizers will make the best decisions when it comes to protecting the safety of all runners. This means we reserve the right to adjust, cancel, reroute, or reschedule as we see fit.

Because the bulk of our costs come before the event even occurs we will not be able to extend refunds to those who wish to cancel their registration. In the instance of mega wild weather we will assess things appropriately and fairly, to the best of our abilities. If the race is popular enough to create a waiting list, we will also treat your entry fairly with specifics TBD.

Bib Transfer

Race registration is non transferable and cannot be rolled over to subsequent races, unless extenuating medical or life circumstances occur. If a medical exception is authorized it must be completed two weeks prior to the event. We will always treat our community fairly but also ask that you be sympathetic about the realities of putting on a great event. Anyone running under a bib assigned to another athlete will be banned from future Cirque Series Races, we take this very seriously because it creates a safety issue.
